FOSTERING

If you love cats but know this is just not the right time for you to adopt, try fostering. You get the joy of having feline companionship without the responsibility that adoption brings with it. Whether you use your fostering time as a trial period to see if having a cat is for you or whether you become a “serial fosterer,” caring for your cats until they find permanent homes then taking in a few more, you will be doing a WONDERFUL THING! The more cats we can place in foster homes until they are adopted, the more we can take in off the streets or out of other bad situations.

You'll help keep cats out of cages and aid in socializing! It's easy... just care for the cat as your normally would a permanent feline friend. Then, bring the cat to Petco at 92nd & Broadway in Manhattan on Saturdays from 2-6pm during our normal adoption hours.
